Description

The purpose of developing a Cryptosporidium Detection Action Plan was to provide aframework from which to proceed in the event of an elevated Cryptosporidium count in raw orfinished water, or elevated cryptosporidiosis incidence in communities served by San FranciscoPublic Utilities Commission (SFPUC) drinking water. The development and the implementationof the plan was and is a collaborative effort between the water utility (SFPUC) and the SanFrancisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH).
