Description
This slide presentation outlines a project at the Phoenix Water Services Department (WSD) to improve tracking and responding to regulatory requirements by integrating a custom, web-based integrated information system. The system will allow the WSD to:access and analyze sample information originating from, and storedin, diverse locations;determine sample schedule, compliance and reportingrequirements through algorithms based on the existing drinkingwater regulations;generate compliance reports for submittal to regulatoryagencies; and,provide relevant regulatory information as a reference in aflexible and easily updateable format. The system allowsfull alignment with the City of Phoenix vision to:utilize technology as a tool to optimize work practices; and,rely on the Internet as the distribution channel to capture andmake information available.
