Description
Three experiments were conducted with a section of tuberculated cast-iron moved from the field to the laboratory for study. A blend of chlorine-free waters from the distribution system, influent, was treated with chlorine, erythromycin, or cyanide. Each antibiotic reduced total iron and turbidity, as well as total bacteria. Includes 1 reference, tables, figure.
