Description
Water utilities, especially those serving populations of fewer than 10,000 people, can achieve both energy and monetary savings through electrical demand reduction and leak detection programs. A study of 80 rural Alabama utilities that used these techniques showed that more than 260,000 kWh and $550,000 were saved per year. Includes tables, figures.
