Description
This article reviews the scope, contents, and status of the disinfection-disinfection byproducts rule. The requirements of the rule will extend coverage from a few thousand to more than 50,000 public water systems that use disinfection, including systems that purchase water from other systems. The rule is still in the making; this article gives an overview of anticipated general requirements and major issues. Includes 3 references, tables, figure.
