Description
This article discusses the Interim Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule (IESWTR), whose purpose is to improve the control of microbial pathogens, including Cryptosporidium, in drinking water and to ensure microbiological quality as water systems comply with the Stage 1 Disinfectant/Disinfection Byproducts (D/DBP) Rule.
