This slide presentation outlines a study to develop rate models for chloraminedecay in the distribution system (DS) of Raleigh, North Carolina. Specific objectives include:measure the decay rate in bulk water at differentDS locations;measure the chloramine decay rate in PSR andcalculate a wall reaction rate;specify rate equations for decay rate in bulk waterand at pipe wall as function of pH, temperature andvelocity for use in H2OMAP (MWHSoft) of RaleighDS. Conclusions are given for: decay rate in bulk water; decay rate in CIP section; and, decay rate in DIP. Includes tables, figures.
