This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of Olympia’s approach towater loss accounting and issues it was having with production data telemetry and consumption data. Various uses of water are presented, along with apparent loss and real loss and an example of the AWWA Standard Water Balance form. Challenges included: identifying who has the data, and obtaining it;accuracy of production data; and, accuracy of consumption data.
