Description
The Southern California Water Company (SCWC) has several well sites that will beimpacted by the new arsenic regulation and has been proactively searching for theoptimum treatment options. This paper presents results from the SCWC arsenictreatment facility in southern California, one of the first full-scale arsenic adsorptionplants constructed in North America. In this paper, the performance of four sorptivemedia are compared and the impact of key water quality parameters, considerationsfor waste disposal, and the general cost analysis are also discussed.
