This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the project drivers and then presents the project workplan that includes the following: development of Core Strategy Group;provide definition of interruptions,short-, medium- and long-term;analyze interruptions -provide recommendations for reduced use andprovide recommendations for alternatives without evacuation; and,provide best practices models. The Water Audit Handbook is presented, along with water use by function, alternative wate supply planning; and, hospital survey and results of survey. Presentation observations include: bottled water is a very temporary/limitedsolution,does not address basic sanitation and fire fighting;the vast majority of water supply use inhospitals is for heating, ventilation, and airconditioning (HVAC); and,the longer interruptions are more complicated.
